Colour me crazy, but I like the black and white

Painting in india ink is incredibly satisfying.  Working with ink and brush requires a lot of control combined with quick movement.  As such, it can take a while before landing on the desired image, but when you get there, it is so great.

In the case of this work the ink caters to the random placement and subtle pattern that emerges from the layered and broken shapes.
